In one month from today, DKU-TV will be back streaming, starting with the annual Kaiju Bowl Marathon on the 7th of February. I am taking this break to figure how to proceed with certain things. One of them is to get help with the daily routine of posting stuff to go out to the DKU viewers. Currently, we have only two social media outlets to inform everyone what’s playing daily – On Twitter (with over 1000 followers) and on the Facebook group (DKU is still in FB’s black-book so there can’t be no more pages until we have some legal course to take). However, there is an official website daikaiju.tv that was created in the hopes of becoming the home of everything the channel does (even with the hopes of a store too.) But in the last year, it was just too much for me to handle everything and while it only takes a few moments to post/share on Facebook and then on Twitter, it does take some time to log into the website, enter the WordPress interface, upload the ad/video promo and copy/paste everything from Facebook. Also, to make sure that not only it looks right with the banner on the front page but its properly mark with the right tags to be in the right sections of the website. I would love to have the website up and running in along with the other two postings. So, I am asking if any of our viewers out there has any good knowledge of using WordPress and would like to volunteer to help me in the daily posting and to get the recorded video links ready for the Saturday Morning Cartoons so viewers can view those anytime that they want from the site, please get back me as soon as you can so we can get the website working again to be a source of everything about DKU
Also, if there is anyone out there with any good musical composing background (computer/keyboard), I would love if we could do some different versions of the themes that I have been using for the different shows on the channel like the Tokusatsu Tue/Thurs theme which is a bad online recording of a surf version of the Johnny Sokko theme. While it is a good rendition of the 60s theme. I just like to have a modern take to go with the futuristic intro video.
Finally, anyone out there who does voice work, I m considering to have an official “voice” for the channel but it’s not that important as the others stuff mention above.
Thank you for your continuing viewing and support of the channel,
Until next time…Genki de!!!
